How does the QUOTE-O-MATIC work?
We’ve aggregated our job costs from a combined 58 years of productions in order to create the QUOTE-O-MATIC. Based on a series of four to six variables, our algorithm can scope an assignment and render a "quote" that helps clients budget their projects with a typical accuracy of +/- 7%.

Nota Bene: Every client's challenge—and therefore their video—is unique, and as such, will require a specific consult to identify the best solutions, based on actual needs, and then adjust the scope accordingly. Often we help find additional efficiencies that decrease costs after the QUOTE-O-MATIC. We cannot guarantee that outcome, but we always try! We want you to get the hardest working communication possible, at a cost that suits your budget.

How many interview subjects?

Your selection under Interview Style will impact how many people can be interviewed per day. The number of people interviewed per day affects how many full shoot-days must be budgeted for—this will be one of the largest cost drivers in budgeting for your interview film.

*The QUOTE-O-MATIC assumes that each individual is placed on camera one at a time. Alternative arrangements are possible, but will have an impact on the scope of the project.
How many cameras would you like?

Please select the number of cameras to be used for the interviews.

We recommend a minimum of two cameras when filming a single person on camera. This allows flexibility with the edit. Certain situations—many people intercut rapidly, extensive B-Roll—may allow for a single camera option if your budget requires. Using 3 cameras can be a great addition as well, particularly if filming in a great location.

B-Roll Day/Locations Needed

Select how many B-Roll locations and/or days you require for your film.

B-Roll is an excellent way to add dimension, life, and engagement to your storytelling. If you haven't maximized your primary shoot day, and your B-Roll can be captured at the same facility, you can select "0" here and still have B-Roll. If you require other locations, or an additional day or two of shooting, you will need to add that here. Efficiencies may be possible in further review of your budget.
